O'Brien thrilled as No Memory makes headlines for the right reasons
No Memory was making headlines for all the right reasons in division one of the 1m4f handicap.
Trained by Liam O'Brien, who this month won his appeal against the penalties handed out to him under the non-triers rule by the raceday stewards at Listowel in September, No Memory showed what she is capable in fine style.
O'Brien had described the appeal process as a "sorry affair" after he was absolved of any wrongdoing at Listowel and No Memory provided the Cork-based trainer with something to smile about by notching her first win since the episode.
He said: "It's great. She's won a point-to-point, two hurdle races, she's Listed-placed and now she's won on the Flat so we won't complain.
"She's all heart, which is all that matters really. We have no major plans as such but we’ll see where we go from here. It’s great to get it and we’re delighted with her.”
