No need to Pretend as Sole looks the real deal for Lee
Norman Lee's dream to win a major pot with Sole Pretender is very much alive, after the progressive five-year-old swatted aside his rivals under Jack Kennedy in the 2m rated hurdle.
The novice hurdler has gone from strength to strength this season, and Lee is now eyeing a big prize at Ballinrobe next month with his stable star.
Speaking after the race, the trainer said: "Sole Pretender is progressing away nicely and taking every step at a time – we are very pleased with him. He will get ten days off now and he'll do a bit of swimming; we'll bring him to the beach!
