No Enable hangover as Frankie Dettori gets down to business on Franconia

Frankie Dettori called in at York in between riding two titans of the turf to partner Franconia, a filly with star potential of her own, to victory in the Listed Lyric Fillies' Stakes.
The world's most famous jockey, winner of his seventh King George on Enable on Saturday and gearing up for supreme stayer Stradivarius in Tuesday's Goodwood Cup, had a tougher workout than might have been expected on the 1-3 favourite.
Franconia, a daughter of Frankel representing the Enable triumvirate of Dettori, John Gosden and Khalid Abdullah, was forced to battle for a hard-fought success over the Andrea Atzeni-ridden Gold Wand.
