Patience was the watchword for trainer Olly Murphy at Fakenham. After seeing four of his horses beaten in the early races, including a couple at 11-8, he completed a double in the last three races of the day.

First came Saucysioux, who was backed throughout the day and sent off an unusually short 4-11 for a handicap hurdle over nearly three miles.

However, she wholly justified the punter's confidence under champion jockey Richard Johnson when leaving her rivals for dead turning in and secured her hat-trick by an easy 14 lengths.
