Oisin Murphy and Ralph Beckett both enjoyed their best-ever seasons in terms of winners last year, and also struck up a successful relationship in the process.

Beckett supplied Murphy with 14 winners at a 20 per cent strike-rate and the pair were on the mark again on Wednesday when Remember The Man landed the 2m handicap with the minimum of fuss.

Owned by Sven Hanson, whose colours have been carried by the likes of Group 1 winners Pride, Reliable Man and Fair Salinia, Remember The Man cruised to a comfortable win on his third start for Beckett after moving from France.
