Jardine clears obstacles for Pointillism to score

Owners Jim Beaumont and Douglas Pryde, best known for being two of the three partners in 2013 Grand National winner Auroras Encore, probably had something very different in mind for Pointillism, winner of the 7f maiden on his first run for Iain Jardine.


Results


It is a further testament to Jardine's burgeoning reputation that he saw the most successful course to take, which may not have been obvious with a stoutly bred type bought for jumping. Jardine himself admitted that the plan was not pinpoint accurate, however.
