Oh Mee, oh my! Annette and Pearse Mee are Galway natives so winners at Ballybrit provide them with more pleasure than anywhere else. They almost hit the jackpot in the 2016 Guinness Galway Hurdle with their most prized possession, Hidden Cyclone, but this year's festival is making up for that heartache.

Two winners in three days is a record Gigginstown or JP McManus would be proud of but it is the Mee family who top the owners' stats at this stage thanks to Minella Beau and Exchange Rate, who provided a 9-1 double to follow the victory of Three Wise Men on Tuesday.

"He's won in Galway now for the Mees and that's their Cheltenham," said rider Patrick Mullins after Exchange Rate fought off a host of challengers in the 1m4f qualified riders' maiden.
