Upwardly mobile apprentice Hollie Doyle was back in action at Southwell after suffering a concussion in a morning fall less than a fortnight ago.

"I passed my concussion test yesterday and it was nice to get back with a ride like that," she said after partnering Imjin River to fourth in the 5f handicap.

She added: "Hopefully now I'll get to pick up where I left off. I've got a couple of rides at Newcastle on Wednesday, nothing on Thursday, then one at Lingfield on Friday."
