Dettori: She was floating but her floating was five lengths better than the rest
Frankie Dettori is counting down the days until he will ride Enable in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, which he will be out to win for a record-breaking fifth time. Here he gives his reaction to the exceptional filly's triumph in the Yorkshire Oaks
She is easy for me to ride. She has got a great temperament, she has unbelievable stamina, she is a stayer with a turn of foot and she is uncomplicated.
I would prefer to have a lead but she is sensible enough to make the running and that is another option we have got if we go to the Arc and it's a small field – we've got that weapon in our armoury.
I know she won by five lengths but she had some left, believe it or not. I've felt every time I've ridden her, when something comes to her she gets going.
Today she was by herself but she has still won by five lengths. I said to John [Gosden] that if something had sniffed her backside she would have taken off but she was too far clear.
She was floating but her floating was five lengths better than the rest! I am as impressed with her as you guys, winning four Group 1s by five lengths.
I said to John after the Irish Oaks that I hadn't had a feel like it since Golden Horn in the Arc. She is top drawer and keeps delivering.
Is she the best filly I've ever ridden? She could be but she's got to win an Arc.
She is entitled to be favourite for the Arc and we've got five weeks of sleepless nights before then! We just want to get her there in the same shape.
