Days Of Heaven doubles up after American adventure

Although his American adventures last autumn proved fruitless, Days Of Heaven has not looked back since returning to Britain and registered his second consecutive success when taking feature 2m3½f handicap chase.

After being taken down to the start before the rest of the field again, he made every yard of the running to prove four and a half lengths too good for Yorkist and put himself in line for a tilt at Market Rasen's valuable Summer Plate in July.

Winning trainer Nicky Henderson's assistant Toby Lawes said: "The gameplan with him was to bounce out early as he has such a high cruising speed and jumps really well when he gets into a rhythm in front.
