Crowley on De Sousa's case with another winner
Jim Crowley has stated his intention to challenge for the Stobart-sponsored jockeys' title and did his cause no harm with a winner on Bee Case.
Crowley now has 60 for the season, eight behind leader Silvestre de Sousa, [ACCURATE BEFORE EVENING RACING], and he said: "I'll give it a go, Silvestre is a great jockey and a hard man to catch. Hopefully I can make a few inroads."
Crowley will have the chance to do so later in the week, with De Sousa serving a four-day ban, starting Thursday, that he picked up at Sandown earlier in the month for improper riding.
