Jim Crowley knows almost as much about riding winners as Sir Michael Stoute does about winning the September Stakes and the pair were able to advertise their respective expertise with an easy victory for Arab Spring.

For Stoute it was a sixth victory in the totescoop6-sponsored Group 3, five years after his last and some 31 years since his first. For Crowley it was an 87th winner of the season, having added to his overnight tally of 85 in the opener with Sir Dancealot. For Arab Spring it was a much-needed return to form.
