Time is something that matters for jockey Bryony Frost. Time getting to places, the best use of time in races and an exorbitant amount of time she has post-race for anyone wanting to speak to her.

Frost made the long cross-country journey to Fakenham for just the one ride on Friday, but she made it count as she steered Brelan D’As to victory in the 2m½f novice chase for boss Paul Nicholls and owner JP McManus.

Then it was time for the photographers, time for the media and plenty of time for each and every one of the half dozen or so racegoers who stopped her on the way to the weighing room to thank her for riding the 8-11 favourite to victory, or to generally congratulate her.
