40-1 shocker at Killarney as Your Honor denies gambled-on favourite

Monday: Killarney
Your Honor had punters pleading for mercy after the 40-1 outsider fended off the challenge of the gambled-on favourite Chatterbox in the second division of the 1m3½f handicap.
It looked as though Colin Keane was about to draw level with Billy Lee at the top of the Flat jockeys' championship as Chatterbox battled alongside Your Honor inside the final furlong, but he was unsuccessful in his pursuit as Mikey Sheehy steered the rank outsider to victory by a neck.
Winning trainer James Nash put the surprise victory down to Your Honor's preference for soft ground and thinks he will make a "beautiful jumps horse".
Family affair
The second division of the race was a real family affair as Andrew Slattery guided Apologise to success for his father Andy in the colours of his mother Mary.
The 4-1 joint-favourite was making his handicap debut and stayed on powerfully to beat Bayou Belle by a length and a quarter.
Apologise ran well on his last visit to the track when fourth in a mile maiden and relished the step up in trip to defy an opening mark of 65.
Double celebrations
The card kicked off with a quickfire double for Joseph O'Brien and Declan McDonogh.
Rubio Draco quickened up smartly to land the 1m½f auction maiden at this third time of asking, while Clemmie C justified 13-8 favouritism in the 1m½f fillies' maiden.
