Heartwarming success

Sunny Ledgend proved age is just a number when running his rivals ragged in a handicap chase at Exeter on Tuesday under Richard Patrick, returning to an ovation from the shocked crowd.

The 15-year-old was sent off an unconsidered 66-1 and led for much of the race, digging in to maintain his advantage on testing ground.
