A horse named after a young girl who died in 2012 from a rare form of cancer will make its second start at Yarmouth (2.10) on Thursday, with members of her family making the 200-mile journey to be in attendance.

The story of Sadie Rose Clifford, whose family raised around £500,000 to have her neuroblastoma treated by specialists in the US, made national headlines after her death.

There is already an annual football match held in her honour in the family's home town of Knaresborough and now her name will be carried into another sport with the Denis Quinn-trained Sadieroseclifford.
