Francesca Cumani’s proud parents Luca and Sara are looking forward to seeing more of their daughter and grandson Harry following the announcement she is to be the new face of Flat racing on ITV next year.

Cumani, a regular presenter on TV in Australia, will co-host the new terrestrial broadcaster’s coverage with Ed Chamberlin.

Sara Cumani said: “I think Francesca sees it as a bit daunting, but also a great honour to get the role with ITV. She’ll be asked to do things that she hasn’t done before, but I’m sure she’ll do it in a professional manner as always.
