The latest betting news, going updates and non-runners
Having gone close to landing the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches at Deauville on Saturday, William Haggas has another shot at a French Classic today with Rivet.
Winner of the Racing Post Trophy and Champagne Stakes last season, Rivet needs to improve on his return to action when beaten in the Craven Stakes.
He faces a high-class field including a couple of runners for Aidan O'Brien, who had a rare blank day on Saturday. However, with the likes of Acapulco in action for him today at the Curragh it is unlikely he will have another day without a victory.
