A sizeable proportion of the six runners in today's Dribuild Ltd Handicap over Bath's intermediate five furlongs and 161 yards trip are progressive three-year-olds. Florencio could have been counted as among them before a couple of poor runs on turf in the spring, but trainer William Muir hopes he can regain the thread now.

"He's had a wind op since his last run and is well within himself," said Muir yesterday. "I don't think he likes soft ground so I wouldn't be keen to run him on that again.
