ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the six races on ITV on Saturday
bet365 Novices' Championship Final Handicap Hurdle, 2m
Paul Nicholls has enjoyed his best-ever seasonal tally of winners and he aims to extend that remarkable sequence on the day he is crowned champion trainer for a record 12th time.
He relies on Celestial Force in a race he saddled Getaway Trump to victory in 2019, but faces a competitive field that includes the classy On To Victory and a two-strong attack from the in-form Dan Skelton yard in Gylo and Rockstar Ronnie.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Celestial Force
Form figures over hurdles read 122132; had wind surgery prior to good effort last time
Paul Kealy's Saturday banker at Sandown
Elusive Bloodstock EBF Stallions King Richard III Stakes, 7f, Listed
Leicester's big race of the year gets the limelight in front of the ITV cameras, but has disappointingly only attracted a field of four after the late withdrawal of favourite Lord Campari.
Highly regarded Mums Tipple bids to bounce back to winning ways, while Pogo, Group 2 winner Shine So Bright and Beat Le Bon round off the line-up.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Mums Tipple
Classy four-year-old returning to his last winning trip; may have a fitness edge over market rivals
bet365 Oaksey Chase, 2m6f, Grade 2
Paul Nicholls and Bryony Frost teamed up to win the last running of this with Black Corton and they link up again with this season's King George VI Chase hero Frodon, who was a respectable fifth in the Cheltenham Gold Cup last month.
Peterborough Chase winner Mister Fisher should provide the sternest opposition, but needs to bounce back from his failures to complete on his last two starts at Cheltenham and Aintree.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Frodon
King George winner; non-stayer in the Gold Cup; should make a strong bid back down in trip
The Punt Daily: Tom Collins' free horse racing tips on Saturday afternoon
Casumo Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap, 7f
ITV makes a fleeting visit to Haydock for what looks to be a competitive handicap headlined by the Ed Walker-trained Dreamloper, who landed a similar contest against her own sex at Ascot last September.
Persuasion, Marshal Dan, Gobi Sunset and Firmament are more exposed, but all have solid form at this level and ran with respect on their latest outings.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Dreamloper
Progressive, strong-travelling filly; better still to come; leading contender
bet365 Celebration Chase, 1m7½f, Grade 1
Britain's final Grade 1 of the jumps season sees Altior clash with this year's Queen Mother Champion Chase heroine Put The Kettle On.
Altior has dominated this race in the last three runnings and is unbeaten at the Esher track. However, he has been seen only once this season when a disappointing second at Kempton over Christmas and faces a formidable opponent in the Henry de Bromhead-trained mare.
She travels over from Ireland instead of running at Punchestown next week and crucially gets the 7lb weight-for-age allowance.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Altior
Has won this race three times; leading player if he's still the force of old (now aged 11)
Saturday's free racing tips: five horses to consider putting in your multiples
bet365 Gold Cup Handicap Chase, 3m5f, Grade 3
The curtain comes down on the televised action with the big staying chase itself, with Rachael Blackmore and Henry de Bromhead being well supported to land another memorable success following Minella Times's Grand National victory.
They are represented by Plan Of Attack, who has been backed into favouritism during the week, while the champions Harry Skelton and Paul Nicholls team up with unexposed chaser Enrilo.
El Presente has been aimed at this race since winning the Badger Beers Trophy in November and bids to cap off a fine season for Kim Bailey and David Bass.
SPOTLIGHT TIP: Plan Of Attack
Running a very big race when stumbling unfortunately three out at Cheltenham latest outing
