ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the seven races on ITV4 on Saturday

1.50 Cheltenham
Racing Post Gold Cup Handicap Chase, 2m4½f, Grade 3

A host of rivals who clashed in last month's Paddy Power Gold Cup take each other on again, as the winner that day Midnight Shadow bids to become the first horse to complete the big-race double since Exotic Dancer in 2006. Lalor, who flew home to finish third that day, and second-last fence casualty Coole Cody, take their chances, as do Grade 2 winners Silver Hallmark and Fusil Raffles.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: DOSTAL PHIL

Eyecatching fourth in the Paddy Power; still unexposed over 2m4f; commands respect

2.05 Doncaster
bet365 Handicap Hurdle, 2m½f

Bryony Frost heads to Doncaster for her boss Paul Nicholls and partners Sonigino, who shaped with plenty of promise on his British debut when third in a Haydock Listed novice hurdle. Tommy's Oscar still remains progressive over hurdles having bolted up in a Haydock handicap last time, while recent Huntingdon second Takeit Easy has had that form line boosted since.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: TAKEIT EASY

A model of consistency and his form looks rock solid; seems sure to go well again

Exclusive weekend tips from top tipsters Paul Kealy and David Jennings

Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle, 3m, Grade 2

Blazing Khal stormed to victory in a similar race over 2m5f at the November meeting and takes on Gelino Bello and Current Mood again, who were second and third behind the Charles Byrnes-trained raider that day. Barony Legends bolted up by 27 lengths at Lingfield last time and could be a dark horse to take on the market leaders.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: BLAZING KHAL

2m5f Grade 2 win here last time; worse off with runner-up Gelino Bello but could relish 3m

2.40 Doncaster
bet365 Summit Juvenile Hurdle, 2m½f , Grade 2

Some of the best early season juveniles clash in this intriguing race, which is headed by the Gary Moore-trained Porticello, who was impressive in a Listed Wetherby juvenile hurdle on his British debut. Too Friendly is unbeaten in two hurdle starts so far, while Knight Salute bids for another Grade 2 success for the resurgent Milton Harris.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: PORTICELLO

Unbeaten in two hurdles, including Listed race; needs taking very seriously indeed

Unibet International Hurdle, 2m1f, Grade 2

Song For Someone was a narrow winner of this race a year ago and tries to become the first back-to-back winner since The New One seven years ago. His task will not be easy, however, as the admirable Sceau Royal, who was not beaten far in the Fighting Fifth Hurdle last time, and top-class novice hurdler Ballyadam, provide stiff opposition.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: SONG FOR SOMEONE

Won this race 12 months ago; made an encouraging reappearance at Ascot; respected

Saturday's free racing tips: six horses to consider putting in your multiples

bet365 Handicap Chase, 3m

Two For Gold was a Grade 2 winner as a novice chaser and makes his seasonal return having unseated in the Topham Chase at the Grand National meeting on his final start last season. Kauto Riko has run some huge races in races such as the Paddy Power Gold Cup and Peterborough Chase and will be more at home in this company, while classy chaser Jett makes his first start for Olly Murphy.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: THE WOLF

The youngest in the field; still possesses potential; could well be the answer

3.35 Cheltenham
Close Brothers Mares' Handicap Hurdle, 2m4½f

The unexposed Trapista made a taking British debut when winning by five lengths at Huntingdon in late October and is pitched into handicap company for the first time. Indefatigable is back at this level having contested Grade 2s on her last two outings, and Martello Sky also has strong course-and-distance form, having landed a Listed race at the April meeting here.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: MIDNIGHTREFLECTION

Better than ever in these cheekpieces in February and may have needed reappearance run
