It's possible to find examples of horses who have improved after leaving the five-star excellence of Willie Mullins' stable.

Apple's Jade, who joined Gordon Elliott after the infamous Mullins-Gigginstown House Stud split in September 2016, is an obvious one, as is recent Down Royal Grade 3 winner Skyace, bought for just £600 by her current trainer Shark Hanlon after leaving Mullins.

There have also been many others whose level of form went in the opposite direction after leaving the 14-time champion trainer in Ireland.
