'Breathtaking' Not So Sleepy a big Betfair Hurdle chance for Jonathan Burke
It has already been a memorable season for jockey Jonathan Burke and he attempts to add further gloss when partnering tearaway Ascot winner Not So Sleepy to another major prize in Saturday’s Betfair Hurdle at Newbury.
A nine-length win in the Betfair Exchange Trophy was followed quickly by Grade 2 victories in the Desert Orchid Chase on Bun Doran and the Relkeel Hurdle on the Tom George-trained Summerville Boy.
It is with trainer Hughie Morrison that success has come on Not So Sleepy, who could be heading for the Champion Hurdle after Newbury.
