Who is your fancy for the Betfair Exchange Trophy?

Bob Cooper, broadcaster At a price, I think Whoshotthesheriff could run quite well. He was with Gordon Elliott and won a couple of races in the spring, but he fell at Cheltenham first time out this season when running a big race and I thought he ran quite well at Haydock when second last time. I don’t think he quite got home there so the drop in trip should suit so I think the signs are good for him.

Charlie Deutsch, jockey I would go for Monsieur Lecoq to win this. He’s consistent, having finished outside the first four only once when he has completed a race. More importantly, he handles heavy ground, which it will be at Ascot, and it would be no surprise to see this go his way.

Keith Melrose, betting editor You want soft-ground proficiency and an ex-Flat horse would not normally provide that, but Not So Sleepy has loads of relevant form and made all over course and distance on soft last time. He has gone up only 5lb and should go well again. I also would not have Remiluc as the outsider of the field, even after 629 days off, given his ample form in similar races when it has come up testing.
