For probably the first time since Good Friday racing was inaugurated, we are reliant on all-weather racing beyond the end of its season. With Warwick and Musselburgh cancelled due to waterlogging, Wolverhampton in the afternoon and Chelmsford in the evening keep the show on the road.

Wolverhampton stages the strongest race of the day, a 0-90 sprint at 3.15, while Chelmsford arguably boasts the greater depth, although the handicaps there have drawn slightly smaller fields.
