Tuesday's racing is somewhat extreme in the geographical sense as Brighton, on the south coast, is joined by Hamilton, just south of Glasgow in Scotland, to provide the afternoon entertainment.

David Ashforth is at Brighton in his quest to Grab A Grand for charity this week and has a four-runner maiden (3.00) to solve with runners trained by John Gosden, Sir Michael Stoute, Saeed Bin Suroor and Archie Watson.

Chepstow on the Flat and Stratford's jumps card take over in the evening fare.

Final thought

The Queen did not enjoy a Royal Ascot winner last month but has had four winners and four seconds from her last 12 runners and is well represented on Tuesday. She has Clarion (3.00 Brighton), napped by our Newmarket man David Milnes, and Cloud Drift (6.30 Chepstow) bidding to improve those stats.
