Tuesday: 1.10 Leopardstown
Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle | 3m | 4yo+ | ITV4/RTV/RTE

The class act of the race is undoubtedly the 143-rated Gentlemansgame, who has always been held in the highest regard by Mouse Morris.

He chased home the smart Gaillard Du Mesnil in a Grade 1 novice hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival last season and a repeat of that would make him a major player here, even with top weight. The booking of Aidan Coleman, who has never ridden a winner in Ireland, catches the eye too.

Coltor, who was fifth to Jeff Kidder in the Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham in March, had his big day at Galway in July when landing the valuable Connacht Hotel Handicap on the Flat. He is now rated 90 in that sphere, so is a fascinating contender off 127 with the promising Sam Ewing taking off 5lb.

What they say

Mouse Morris, trainer of Gentlemansgame and Whatsnotoknow
Gentlemansgame is a good young horse who hopefully has a nice future. It won't be easy for him here off top weight but he's in good form. Whatsnotoknow ran well at Fairyhouse and wasn't beaten far. He should like going back over three miles.

Gordon Elliott, trainer of Duffle Coat and Dunboyne
Duffle Coat was disappointing at Navan and didn't jump well. Hopefully he'll brush up in that department here and would have a small squeak if he does. I could see Dunboyne running well and I thought he ran better than the bare result at Navan.

Gavin Cromwell, trainer of Pour Pavore
He should stay. The handicapper could be catching up with him a little but hopefully stepping up in trip will suit.
