Perth chief executive Hazel Peplinski warned that the track is unlikely to take immediate full advantage of the ease in crowd restrictions at Scottish courses.

Perth's meetings on July 27 and 28 will not admit 1,000 people, the new maximum permissible in Scotland from next Monday. Nor will the course be at full capacity for its Saturday card on August 14, five days after all restrictions are lifted north of the border.

"We want to go canny," said Peplinski, who revealed that up to 500 grandstand tickets will be sold for the two July dates, which are likely also to attract around 150 members and 100 owners.
