Cotswold estate agent Butler Sherborn has signed a deal to sponsor up-and-coming jumps trainer Ben Pauling for the next five years, replacing previous stable sponsor the Cotswold Brewery Company.

Pauling, based at Bourton-on-the-Water, enjoyed his best season last year with 26 winners, headlined by Grade 1 winner Barters Hill, who is set to go novice chasing this season.

The company said: “Support for Ben Pauling is a natural move for Butler Sherborn. Association with an enthusiastic, dedicated and professional yard reflects the ethos of the firm.
