Palmer hopes shorter trip can give Architecture Classic win

Hugo Palmer has supplemented Architecture for the German Oaks on Sunday in the hope that the furlong shorter trip can make her a Classic winner after finishing second in the English and Irish editions of the race.

Having been headed in the closing stages at Epsom and the Curragh, it is hoped the daughter of Zoffany will land a big prize, with her solitary victory arriving in a maiden at Nottingham last year.

"It's worth €500,000," said Palmer. "Having finished second in the English and Irish Oaks we would like to make her a Classic winner.
