Lambourn stalwart Usher has plenty to smile about after stellar season
Harriet Tucker was back in the headlines last week, although they were not anywhere as dramatic as the ones she made two years ago when famously landing the Foxhunter at the Cheltenham Festival on the Paul Nicholls-trained Pacha Du Polder after dislocating her shoulder at the last fence.
Since then the amateur rider has suffered further problems with her troublesome joint which led to some mental anguish – something she detailed after partnering Born To Please to victory at Nottingham on the Flat as October drew to a close.
It was great to see what it meant to her, and the significance of the success would not have been lost on Born To Please's trainer Mark Usher, who was registering his 15th winner of 2020.
