Footpad has outstanding chance to strike at Thurles again

Footpad has plenty going for him in the Grade 2 Horse & Jockey Hotel Chase (2.45). He's the highest-rated horse in the race and the race conditions – he gets weight from his four rival rivals – give him an outstanding chance.
He won over the course and on his return to action in November before finishing third in the King George at Christmas. We ran him at Kempton to see how he'd measure up over 3m in the big league and although he ran well for a along way, he clearly didn't stay.
Dropping back to 2m4f should suit him well and he'll be going there in good order.
