In some circles suggestions there might be any problems with the Cheltenham Festival are met with the same spirit of open inquiry that made the people of Salem so famous.

Nonetheless, and not disregarding the danger of being lynched for the following (journalism is a dangerous profession, but that's what I signed up for), I do feel there is scope to further improve what is already the world's best race meeting.
