There's little point in praying for racing to take the Fifth amendment

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

That's the prayer the congregation need to keep in mind as they flock to Newcastle racecourse on Saturday.

The pews will be fuller than for the usual all-weather fixture at Gosforth Park, with the Unibet Fighting Fifth Hurdle attracting plenty of occasional worshippers.
