There's a big rick in one Cheltenham market - as shown on the Saudi Cup card
The racing last Saturday gave a valuable lesson to form students and punters ahead of what many consider the biggest challenge of the year at Cheltenham – as long as you were watching the Saudi Cup undercard.
The bearer of this timely reminder was Stay Foolish, the ridiculously easy winner of the Red Sea Handicap under Christophe Lemaire.
Though a seven-year-old, Stay Foolish was almost completely unexposed at staying trips, having been campaigned at middle distances in Japan since failing to pull up any trees in the 2018 St Leger. Despite being a rare visitor to the winner's enclosure, he was only a 12-1 shot when last seen in the Group 1 Hong Kong Vase, where he was soundly beaten by Glory Vase and Pyledriver.
