The Moore the merrier! Gary's great season is part of a welcome wider trend
We are now in the home stretch on the road to Cheltenham and media mornings with jump racing powerhouses Nicky Henderson, Willie Mullins, Gordon Elliott and Dan Skelton have eaten up the column inches. Where there are headlines to be made in the next few weeks, don't expect to see those names far away.
This is understandable, given the star names they are preparing to unleash, but it is nice sometimes to look away from the absolute top rung of the ladder and it was pleasing to see Gary Moore take centre stage on a super Sunday for the trainer and his family at Fontwell this weekend.
A 153-1 four-timer, the highlight being Josh Moore's uplifting victory on Botox Has in the National Spirit, continued what has been a record-breaking season for the West Sussex team.
