The equine Charlie Fellowes and George Scott set to hit the track in 2020
Newmarket trainers George Scott and Charlie Fellowes will move their friendly rivalry up a notch in 2020 when juveniles bearing each other’s names are scheduled to hit the track.
To keep things interesting, Scott is training Charlie Fellowes, a colt by Swiss Spirit purchased by Fellowes at Tattersalls Ireland in the autumn, while the latter has recently taken charge of George Scott, a son of Zoffany bought by his namesake at Book 3 of the Tattersalls October Sales.
The acquisition of both colts came from the growing popularity of 'Off The Bridle', a regular podcast featuring the pair, hosted by local PR guru and author Tony Rushmer at local hostelry The King's Head at Dullingham.
