There is still no sign of the Levy Board's annual report for 2018-19 which has yet to be laid before parliament, although of course it does help if there is a parliament for it to be laid before.

The political situation is one of the reasons for the late publication of the report, which usually appears during the summer.

The period it will cover was a tumultuous one for the body, and included its resurrection when the government's plans to replace it foundered on objections from politicians to the planned legislation and the shock fall in levy income which caught the industry by surprise earlier this year.
