A recent thread on one WhatsApp group pondered what Sir Anthony McCoy's morning routine might be compared to tennis stars Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.

"Eating," McCoy's chum Richard Hughes shot back with the swiftest of return serves.

The former-Flat-rider-turned trainer's barb might not, however, have found the target at McCoy's stunning home in Lambourn on Tuesday when the Injured Jockeys Fund's latest fundraising mission got off the ground.
