Safer fences and the National is better for it

On September 25, 2012 , I wrote a letter to Aintree clerk of the course Andrew Tulloch regarding the fences on the Grand National course.

I watched the Racing Post’s postcript video with the sad news that Up For Review was a fatality from the race. I feel for the owners as I have lost horses of my own in falls.

I have studied the fences and falls in the Grand National for many years so I felt the need to write a letter to Aintree in 2012, as I could clearly see the main problem back then.
