Ribchester can lead home fancied runners on day to savour at Ascot
What an amazing day we have in store at Ascot and I think for the most part the fancied horses will deliver to bring the curtain down on the season.
There have been plenty of surprise results at Qipco British Champions Day in recent seasons but I think the stars will bring their A-games today, with Ribchester showing the way in the QEII Stakes.
The ground is going to be a big factor throughout the day but my old boss Richard Fahey's stable star will not mind a bit of cut and they clearly are yet to get to the bottom of his considerable talent, given the way he tends to get a bit bored once he hits the front.
