Red-hot Ryan Mania deserves more chances on the biggest stage

With the Cheltenham Festival just eight weeks away, many jockeys will be starting to imagine how their book of rides at the biggest meeting of all might look.

One rider whose festival cupboard looks decidedly bare is Ryan Mania, but on recent evidence that really shouldn't be the case as he has enjoyed a marvellous run over the past few weeks.

Since Boxing Day, Mania has ridden 11 winners from 29 rides, a red-hot spell during which he gained nine winners from nine completed rides in hurdle and chase races at one point.
