Dettori was at his brilliant best on Star Catcher. What’s your most memorable Frankie ride?
Ralph Beckett, trainer I think Ouija Board winning the Nassau Stakes at Goodwood after a momentous duel with Alexander Goldrun is right up there with them all. But purely on a personal note, it has to be his victory aboard an old rogue of mine called Bennelong at Southwell about ten years ago.
Brett Doyle, jockey It was a great ride on Saturday. There are so many to choose from, but I would go with Fantastic Light in the 2001 Irish Champion Stakes. It was a great race between two great horses, with him beating Galileo. Dettori had a race plan which worked out perfectly – it was an incredible race to watch.
Wayne Lordan, jockey There are quite a few to choose from, but one that sticks out for me from the last couple of years was his ride on Expert Eye to win the Breeders’ Cup Mile at Churchill Downs last November.
