Forget Baaeed, Saratoga Gold is the horse for the big occasion.

Okay, Monday's amateur riders' Derby at Epsom is not exactly the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, but Daniel Kyne will never forget it as he registered his first victory under rules aboard the Charlie Hills-trained Saratoga Gold.

The gelding also read the script perfectly at Newbury a few weeks ago. Not only did he give Kyne's fellow amateur Kayleigh Stephens a first win but he also provided a special moment for John Burrows, who was leading up his final winner after 35 years working for the Hills family.
