Paddy Power's big statement shows media rights battleground could get messy

The shifting sands that make up racing's media rights landscape became a little more volatile this week with Paddy Power's decision to scale back their Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG) concessions at various British and Irish courses.

Lingfield on Tuesday and Ffos Las on Wednesday were the first impacted and both happen to be owned by Arena Racing Company (Arc).
