You can't please all of the people all of the time, a statement recently confirmed by the reaction to the publication of next year's fixture list.

The list may have been published earlier than any year since 2009, but the process that led to it involved "protracted and complex discussions", according to the National Trainers Federation.

While there has been no great furore about next year's schedule not everyone is completely happy.
