NFL shows just how dream of fantasy racing could prove an absolute winner
Being in lockdown gives you time to ponder all manner of things, and last week I had something of a 'worlds collide moment' when writing some notes on the recently concluded NFL regular season.
Full disclosure, I'm a big NFL fan, and possibly an even bigger NFL Fantasy fan. Fantasy sport, especially the NFL, lends itself to in-depth analysis and is big business in the US, with a whole industry dedicated to the subject.
As an avid analyst, I started to wonder why racing has not been considered a suitable sport to undergo similar treatment from the fantasy community? We have the Tote Ten To Follow competitions and there are some fantasy games available here and there if you look hard enough, but these efforts barely scratch the surface.
