You may have made the expedition to Newmarket, or just to a betting shop or bar. More certain is that as you watch today's 2,000 Guineas winner galloping into the history books you'll be in your favourite chair at home but, even if that's an easy-rider recliner, this is a race that should always bring you to the edge of your seat.
