We've been treated to a lot of great international racing over the last few weeks and we've watched a lot of our top British-based riders really shine on foreign tracks.
Frankie Dettori and James Doyle fought out a thrilling finish in the Arc, of course, but let's not forget Andrea Atzeni with that excellent ride on Ostilio at Longchamp and another couple of big winners at Woodbine on Saturday night.
The other side of the coin, though, is what happens when our jockeys fall foul of the rules overseas. There's plenty of glory to be had on your travels, but as James found out when he got a seven-day ban for careless riding on Charlie Appleby’s Folkswood in Australia – straight after landing a Grade 1 on Jungle Cat – it can go one of two ways.
