I was so thrilled to be up and walking again for the first time
This is an exciting day for racing fans with the first of the Classics to enjoy and it is especially so for me because I've been looking forward to starting this new weekly column.
People like Richard Hughes have been doing an excellent job with their columns for years, but this is something totally new for me as I start to approach racing from a different angle than I've been used to for so long.
I still love the sport and I'm excited to be sharing this journey with the Racing Post's readers, something that started with my interview in last week's RPSunday.
